I grew up in Mexico City. I always wanted to be a teacher so after raising my children I went back to school. I got my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from UVU and later my Bachelors degree in Special Education with an ESL minor from BYU. I also got my license in elementary education and a bilingual, and dual immersion endorsement. Presently I am working on my gifted and talented endorsement. I love working with children because they are funny and keep me smiling. I enjoy being able to watch them grow and develop new skills. The most rewarding part of my job is helping to support and guide children to make right choices and to love learning. I have four children and fifteen grandchildren that I adore. I love spending time with my grandchildren. Here is a picture of my family.
